Filters, results & directions wording
These fields let you rewrite the storefront text your customers see around the search box, the results list, and the "get directions" link. They're three sections inside the Customize your map subpage of Settings > Appearance & Search: Filters wording, Results wording, and Directions wording.
Accessing wording settings
- Go to Apps > Store Locator > Settings > Appearance & Search.
- Select Customize your map.
- Select Filters wording, Results wording, or Directions wording from the section list.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
INFO
Once populated, each text field's value is reflected on all your maps.
Filters wording
- Search box: placeholder text for the search input, for example "Search for a store...".
- Use my location: label for the button that searches from the customer's current location.
- Max distance: label for the maximum search distance control.
- Max results: label for the maximum results control.
- No limit: label for the "no limit" option in those controls.
Results wording
- You are here: pop-up text shown when a customer clicks their own location pin.
- No stores found: message shown when a search returns no locations.
Directions wording
- Get directions: label for the button that opens directions to a location.
- Get direction language: the language directions are given in. Required.
Does this apply to Where to buy?
No. Where to buy has no search box, results count, or "no limit" option, so Filters wording and Results wording never apply. Directions wording doesn't apply either.
