Setting up Working hours

Working hours templates let you define a reusable schedule that can be applied to multiple locations. This is a paid feature on eligible plans. This article covers how to create and manage templates in Store Locator.

Accessing working hours templates

Go to Apps > Store Locator > Settings > Working hours.

Legacy working hours toggle

Shops that were using Store Locator before working hours templates launched may see a Legacy vs. Templates toggle at the top of this page. While legacy mode is active, templates are disabled and each location's hours are entered as free text on the location form instead. Switching to templates mode is the recommended one-way move, but it can be changed back if needed.

INFO

The toggle is only visible for users who installed the app after July 20th, 2026.

Understanding the default template

The default template is applied to new locations automatically. The default template cannot be deleted; to remove it, first set another template as default.

  1. Choose a template you want to make default.
  2. Click the actions button.
  3. Select Default.
  4. Save.

Creating a working hours template

  1. Click Create template.
  2. Enter a template name (for example, "Standard Hours" or "Weekend Schedule").
  3. Choose the time format: 12-hour or 24-hour.
  4. For each day of the week, set it as Open or Closed. For Open days, set open and close times.
  5. Assign this template to existing locations in bulk from the same modal.
  6. Click Save.

Editing a template

  1. Click the template in the table to open the edit modal.
  2. Make changes and click Save. Changes are reflected on all locations currently using that template.

Custom working hours

Each location can have working hours configured either by applying a saved template or by entering a fully custom schedule.

You can switch between template and custom working hours at any time. Making any changes to a template on a specific location creates a unique "custom" schedule for that location. If you do not like it, just select the template again.

INFO

  • Select multiple templates using checkboxes and use the bulk delete action. You cannot delete the current default template; set another as default first.
  • Templates can also be assigned directly on individual location pages.
